In my oil paintings, I explore the boundaries between the familiar and the obscure, crafting domestic spaces that exist beyond functionality. These spaces are imaginary, serving as sites of introspection, where chaos and order intertwine and where objects lose their conventional roles to become performers in a liminal theatre. I am fascinated by the resonance that everyday objects hold, how they carry layers of memory and meaning, often acting as quiet symbols of past experiences. My work seeks to capture the tension between clarity and ambiguity, suggesting that within the obscurity of these constructed worlds lies a deeper connection to the self and the spaces we inhabit. Through this lens, the domestic setting becomes both a refuge and a stage for reflecting on the unseen, the unspoken, and the intangible aspects of our inner lives.
