Boundaries dissolve, yet they are ever-present. My work explores the fragile lines between humanity and nature, and the crumbling edges where human interventions confront the earth’s raw force. This installation—composed of fragmented grids, layers of projection, collaged soundscapes, and a cyanotype photograph of a solitary woman in an arid landscape—reflects the relentless dualities of climate change, with flood and drought spilling across borders.
I layer sounds of environmental collapse—echoing news reports, ambient noises from altered landscapes, and the tense murmurs of our era—onto calm, meditative visuals. The grids are precisely but subtly misaligned, embodying the chaos within natural and artificial boundaries. Cracks, gaps, and shifts emerge as symbols of our fractured response to global crises.
Through each element, I reveal the quiet yet powerful impact of climate change, urging viewers to confront the reality that no boundary can contain the forces of nature.
