My art navigates the intersections of identity—where culture, faith, sexuality, and other various parts of myself collide and coexist. Growing up immersed in Greek Orthodox traditions, while discovering my identity in contemporary Australia, I have come to see the self as a complex, evolving concept. My work unpacks the layers of identity, questioning ideas of authenticity and embracing fluidity and contradiction. I am fascinated by the idea of multiple selves—the ones we hide, the ones we perform, and the ones we are still coming to know. Through digital sculpture, I explore these facets, inviting viewers to peer into meticulously crafted windows that reveal a virtual world where my figures act as intermediaries between spaces, allowing them to embody a sense of the divine. It is here that the fragmented, fluid self can be witnessed in all its complexity. My art navigates the intersections of identity—where culture, faith, sexuality, and other various parts of myself collide and coexist.
